Section titled “BoB 1.279.1 — release notes”Released: 2026-10-05 · Tag: v1.279.1 · Previous: 1.279.0 (2026-10-04)
Highlights
Section titled “Highlights”- Every issue number on every Control screen is a link. It opens the issue in a new tab, asks in What needs you included. (#3988)
- The Project screen’s Running list folds away. It opens by default and the browser remembers how you left it. The row for the tmux session the terminal is showing is highlighted, and the highlight moves with the terminal. (#3989)
- Drag the divider between the Project screen’s columns to give the terminal more room, or less. The terminal refits and tmux takes the new width, but only while the page is the session’s only client, so nobody else’s view reflows. A double-click resets it to half each. It is remembered per browser and works from the keyboard and by touch. (#3990)
- Clicking a tmux session on the Project screen opens that session, not
term-<project>. (#3987) - The Ask screen names its issue first on the facts line, as a linked
owner/repo#N. - The doc-keeper drift auditor no longer turns CI and the docs-site workflow red. It is switched off until it earns its place back. (#4001)
Upgrade: every machine
Section titled “Upgrade: every machine”Close every Claude Code window on the machine first. A deploy refuses while a session is live (it would switch off the hooks in running sessions); a refused deploy is queued and runs when the last session ends.

Breaking changes
Section titled “Breaking changes”None.
Known issues
Section titled “Known issues”- CI on master fails its “Verify job isolation” step on the farm-01 runner. Releases do not wait for CI, so this release is unaffected. The fix is
scripts/fleet/runner.sh hygiene --machine farm-01 --apply(runbook).
